I didn't have A LOT of dreams, but I think I accomplished mine fairly early in my life. That's really all I got/remember.

Some people said that being happy and at peace made you a bit boring. While Skylar never struggled financially (even when she wasn't talking much with her mother, she still always had her trust fund), she use to struggle either romantically or artistically. This may have made her more interesting.

She used to have to work to find her voice artistically. In New Orleans, she spent time in a ska band just so that she'd be doing something. It wasn't until she sang with Remy one night that she figured out that her muse, her voice, was in metal music.

The romantic part of her life was the stuff that soap operas and episodes of 'Maury' were written about. She thought that she had fallen head over heals in love with Gwen Morrison. Married her, even. A part of her would always love Gwen. She knew that now. Her and Gwen had stopped being able to understand one another, though. Gwen wanted her to be the person that she was before the 'time fluxes'. Skylar wasn't that person, anymore. She had been through so much. Gotten pregnant, had a child. Gotten engaged to someone else while she wasn't around. She just...wasn't the same person Gwen fell in love with, anymore.

It was Ben Bale who had figured out just what might have been wrong with her. A bad mixture of postpartum depression and just starting to realize she and Gwen as they were now weren't meant to be together possibly led her to him, and he loved her for who she was now, not who she had once been.

That love, and the children that came after, plus the success with her band, was what made her feel truly at peace.

You can ask anyone in Saints & Sinners and her nanny that she was far from boring, though. Ben could even tell you that much.

4. Do you like riding animals? Hmm...I'll stay away from saying 'Ben' and say no. I never did like riding horses as I kid.

6. Where do you vacation, and how often? It will change, but I try to get away at least once a year.
7. Do you have any pets? Yes, a cat named Artemis.

B. What do you do with them when you are out in the world? If she's not with me, she gets a sitter who comes and stays at the house with her.

C. Would it reveal things about you better left hidden? Yes, a few...well, less than legal pictures, I think.

1. How did you find out about the supernatural? Did someone tell you, or did it find you and come bite you in the ass? Actually, Gwen was the first one to actually tell me, but it's something I always suspected. I've seen too many strange things in New Orleans for it to *not* exist.
2. For those that became supernatural (vampires, turned werewolves, Slayers), when did you go through whatever made you supernatural? What was it like (in your opinion)? While I technically remember being a Slayer way back in Sunnydale, I apparently didn't become one until Gwen did her little 'time flip.' However, I took it well. Like I said, little can shock me now.
3. What do you think now of being supernatural, or what do you think of the supernatural in general? Is it cool, or have you been screwed by it in some way? I'm sort of surrounded by it, so I don't think much of it. I don't do as much as the other girls, but I don't let it encompass my life like they do. I have children to watch over, and a business to help run, plus singing in a band. I also stay pregnant more often than not, it seems.
4. Do you have a mentor? Who are they? How did you become their student? I suppose the closest thing I have to a mentor is Quinn, my Watcher. We were assigned to one another, but I like him.
5. Do you have any magical items? Where did you get them? I actually don't have any, unless you count my husband as one.
6. What do you think of the other types of supernatural creatures? Why for each? (If you haven't met something, do you think it exists, and if it does, is that bad or good?) Well, I'm marrying one, so I had better think highly of them, shouldn't I? Nothing bothers me these days. Well, very little bothers me.
7. What is something you had to learn during your training that you hated? Why did you hate it? The only thing I learned that really bothers me is how easily people can get hurt and die.

1. Is an ounce of prevention really worth a pound of cure? Which is more valuable? Why do you feel this way? I believe in the idea of prevention, personally. Easier to prevent stuff from happening than trying to clean up a mess later.
2. What's the worst thing that can be done to another person? Why? Anything I think of can be outdone, probably. However, I personally think the worst you can do is kill a loved one.
3. What's the worst thing you could actually do to someone you hated? I try to be nice and civil. However, to quote a friend, I still sort of want to snatch a few girls 'ball-headed' for some stunts they've pulled in LA.
4. Are you a better leader or follower? Why do you think that? If you think the whole leader-follower archetype is a crock of shit, say so, and explain why? I think of myself as a leader. I've always been a bit of a leader. Besides, I don't take directions too well.
5. What is your responsibility to the world, if any? Why do you think that? To protect it, apparently. It's that 'Slayer sacred duty' sort of thing.
6. Do you think redemption is possible? If so, can anyone be redeemed, or are there only certain circumstances that can be? If not, why do you think nothing can redeem itself? Redemption is possible, but it's something that has got to be earned, and not by just saying that you want it.
7. Is it okay for you to cry? When was the last time you cried? It's fine to cry. Everyone does it whether they want you to believe it or not. I cried yesterday when the cat peed on the floor. I blame the hormones.
8. What do you think is wrong with MOST people, overall? Unrealistic expectations of others.

1. What one act in your past are you most ashamed of? What one act in your past are you most proud of? While I'm happy with who I am with now, I regret how things ended with Gwen. I could have done a lot better by her. As for what I am proud of, I am actually proud of having children. I already have Bella and another on the way.
2. Have you ever been in an argument before? Over what, with who, and who won? Been in plenty. I suppose I'll pick one of the bigger ones to talk about. A lot of people held it against me when Gwen and I broke up. While I could have left her without cheating on her first, I'm not sure how things could have ended much better. You can't stay with a person that you don't want to be with anymore, can you?
3. Have you ever been in a physical fight before? Over what, with who, and who won? Just the vampires and such that I have to deal with because I'm a Slayer. Lucky for me, there are enough Slayers to go around that I don't have to go out much anymore. Let the younger girls do it. I'm someone's mother now.
4. What do you feel most strongly about? That Ben is a good person and people just need to learn to accept that.
5. What do you pretend to feel strongly about, just to impress people? Not much, to be honest. I'm not exactly known for my people pleasing skills.
6. What trait do you find most admirable, and how often do you find it?
7. Is there anything you think should not be incorporated into the media or art (sex, violence, greed, etc.,)? If so, what and why, and if not, why not? I am personally not much for censorship. If you think your children can't handle seeing something, then it is your job to check on what they are watching/listening to. It's not the media's job to not show it.
8. Do you have any feelings in general that you are disturbed by? What are they? Why do they disturb you? I occasionally have the urge to do a lot of violence. I suppose it's a Slayer thing, but it's something that I'm not exactly comfortable with.
9. What is your religious view of things? What religion, if any, do you call your own? I am sure that there is a higher being or something, but it doesn't go past that.
10. Do you think the future is hopeful? Why? I do see the future as hopeful. It can only be what you make of it, after all.

1. Would you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else? Why? I'm bi, technically. I'm attracted to both males and females. Apparently people thought I was just gay. Did everyone forget Pat? I *do* have a daughter by him, you know. It's wasn't an immaculate conception, after all.
2. Who was the first person you had sex with? When did it happen? What was it like? How well did it go? Hmm...male persuasion, it was Pat, actually. Gwen and I were sort of a bachelor party surprise for him before he married Iris. That *might* be the start of why she hates me.

My first was when I was sixteen, and it was with a girl that was in the theater club in high school. Pretty thing with purple hair and a tongue ring. And yes, she did know how to use it properly.
